Well another 2 weeks has come and gone! I can’t seem to keep up with my weeks anymore. It’s been raining like crazy over here, and finally this weekend we had nice weather. I think everyone was enjoying the much longed for sunshine!
Enjoying some time at the park. This was before the monsoon hit us last week.
This morning was interesting Mason woke up saying that his tummy hurt. He was pale and lethargic. He gagged a few times and acted like he was going to throw up but luckily he never did. After he ate breakfast his color came back and he was fine for the rest of the day. It was the strangest thing.
Feeling much better and looking at the excavator prepping the soil for more houses.
We put this little art wall together for him on Memorial Day weekend before family came into town for the busy weekend. I originally wanted an entire wall to be a chalkboard, but realistically he would never use the top portion of the wall, so I decided to make it more functional with a chalkboard and a place for his art work.
We found the wire curtain rod and the chalk bucket holder and buckets at Ikea all for under $20. The buckets are plastic, so they are super durable for kids, and they come in a variety of colors
Family finally arrived on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and we got to enjoy a little pool time.
Mason and his Nana.
On Monday, everyone headed back home. It was a lot quitter in the house without so many people there. We ended our weekend by taking Mason fishing at the lake in our neighborhood. He really enjoyed it and kept saying “yea, I’m going to catch a turtle, fish, and duck.”
OUR WEEK 6.6.16
Last week Mason started swimming lessons. Needless to say, he cried the entire time. My poor guy!
After swimming lessons, we headed to sign papers to get myself a new car. As you see from the picture it rained, no it poured, the entire drive to the dealership. Miserable drive there!
Second day of swimming lessons. I’m proud to say there was some progress. He only cried for the first 5 minutes.
This past weekend I had 3 consecutive days off, so we attempted to potty train this stubborn child. He did pretty well but refused to have bowel movements in the toilet so I figured we would try again in a month.
On Sunday we ran errands and went to Lukes Locker for some new running shoes for myself and the hubs. Mason took the opportunity to play hopscotch!
This week my husband will be in NY on business, so it will just be me and my boy! I’m also start my new fitness journey! More on that this week.
Happy week y’all!
