Mason,
Where do I begin, this month you’ve learned so many new things and you continue to amaze me with how much you grasp onto things and just run with them. You have begun to put 2-3 words together in your sentences. Your current phrases are “bye-bye choo-choo train, bye-bye daddy, hi mommy, and hi daddy”. You’re voice is the greatest sound ever.
You’ve also begun to say your own name when we ask you what your name is. You’re giving big hugs now too. You love to try to hug your dogs too, but they don’t like it as much. You will run around and try to catch them and you think it’s the funniest thing ever.
You LOVE trains, so mommy and daddy bought you a train table. You love that thing. You’ll play with it for a long time and walk around the entire table over and over again just pushing your trains. Anything and everything is trains. This month you figure out how to lean over the bar on your wagon walker. Well, it ended not so well for you. You hit your head and got a nice bump and bruise. The first of many I’m sure. In fact, just a week or two later you were running and fell right into the stairs. This was a little scary for mommy. You cried for a little bit and mommy tried to put ice on your head. It was a big bruise.
We still have our bedtime routine down of brushing our teeth, reading books, and then lights out. You still want to pick out your own book, so I let you. You definitely only want mommy to put you to bed. When daddy tries you just cry and ask for “momma’. You’ve started giving good night kisses. My favorite. Since you were a wee baby mommy has always says prayer and sings songs for you before I put you down in your bed, so you’ve learned to put your hands together to pray. It is the sweetest thing ever! You’ve started to sing along to “you are my sunshine”.
You’re drinking 6-8 ounces of milk three times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm).
You are eating 3 times a day (8:30am, 11:30am, and 6:00pm) with an occassional morning snack, and afternoon snack.
Your nap time is at 12:00-3:00pm.
You have bath time around 7:00-7:30pm, go to bed between 8:00-8:30pm, and wake up between 7:00-8:00am.
