Today is the first day of school around here. It should have been 2 weeks ago but the Derecho that hit a couple of weeks ago caused damage to his school and it had to be fixed before they could start school. This year school drop off was just plain hard. Due to Covid, I couldn’t walk my kid to his classroom. I really hated that he had to walk in and find it by himself. I told him to ask for help if he needed to. Luckily today is a half day and I got to pick him up early. He said he found his class just fine.
Praying that he has a great year and stays healthy all year long.
