California {Day 4}

December 1, 2016

On our 4th and final day at Disneyland it was Halloween. We were recharged and ready to go. We spent the first half of our day exploring the Disney Shopping District since we could not get into Disneyland until that afternoon for Mickey’s Halloween Party. (Helpful hint: on any day of Mickey’s Halloween party you must purchase a day ticket and a Halloween Party ticket if you intend to be there all day. I believe we were able to enter the park at 3pm and were given a special bracelet for the event. If you do not have a bracelet come 6pm you must leave the park. The tickets for the Halloween Party are pricey and are the same price as a regular day admission.)

My silly boy!

 We found this amazing restaurant in the Shopping District called Catal. We ate breakfast twice there. It was a little pricey but the servings were generous and it was very tasty.

After we ate we went to explore.

Mason is obsessed with all things Lego’s right now, so he loved the Lego Store.

Ridemakerz!!! What a cool experience, especially for this boy. It made me want to build a car/truck. It’s kind of like Build-a-Bear, but you build and customize your own car/truck. My brother built himself a fancy car and Mason built a Tow Truck Mader monster truck.

 The treats here are amazing. Of course, some of them are seasonal and made specifically for Halloween time.
After exploring we made our way to Disneyland for the Halloween Party. We were so excited to see the parade, fireworks, trick-or-treating, and all of the Halloween events.

The details of the Halloween decor were nothing short of amazing. So hard to capture all of it’s amazingness in photos.

 Trick-or-treating in Toontown.

The halloween parade was fun. Mason barely stayed up thru the entire thing. He enjoyed it but it could be a little scary for some kiddos.

We had so much fun! Everyone needs to experience Mickey’s Halloween Party, at least once! Stay tuned because tomorrow we head to San Diego for more fun and I’m going to share it with you all here.
