It’s crunch time.
This afternoon is our final walk thru.
Closing day is tomorrow! Finally!
April 20
Flooring put in.
Posts up for the fence.
April 21
Carpet in master bedroom.
Door hardware installed.
They did not put carpet on the stairs. Turns out they ran out of carpet, and then it was on backorder. They rush ordered it and it finally came yesterday.

April 22
We had walk thru number one on this day. When we arrived the landscapers were there getting all of that put in.

April 23

Freshly painted mantle.
Backyard with fence up. Still needed sod and for that fence to be painted gray.
This is also part of our backyard, we’ll call it the side yard. This will be the play area.

It only took 3 tries, but they finally got those light fixtures right. Notice my husband’s beloved up lights.

April 24
We had our walk thru on Friday, but the painters were still doing their work on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, we went to go and mark up everything we wanted fixed. It looked like our house had a case of the measles.
April 25
We have grass! I never thought I would be so excited about grass!
April 26
I went by yesterday to see what else they had done. I noticed this. It seems like the paint in the garage is peeling. I suppose we’ll mention it today at our final walk-thru.

I requested that the door have an extra coat of stain. That’s what they did here.
We close tomorrow and I’m so glad to put this behind us and get to moving next week.
