This week was great! I only worked 2 days and I had 6 straight days off. Mason and I hung out…a lot. Earlier in the week, Mason developed croup so I took him to the doctor to get him some oral steroids. My poor baby had a fever and a terrible cough with stridor. By Thanksgiving he was much better. We had a simple lunch at Cracker Barrel for our Thanksgiving meal. Since we just moved 2 weeks ago, I didn’t really feel like making Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. Besides, apartment living doesn’t exactly scream host or serve a Thanksgiving meal here. No matter where we eat, or if we eat at all, the real meaning is to give thanks for all of our blessings. We also took Mason to watch a movie. His very first movie, at a movie theater. We saw “The Good Dinosaur” and Mason did pretty well. He only got up twice. On Saturday, we went and had dinner and then took Mason to watch “Disney On Ice”. We had pretty good seats and he really enjoyed looking at all of the characters dance around. He never once asked to get up. I enjoyed it too!
