Yesterday was your child dedication. A Child Dedication is the act of giving back to God the gift that he has given us as parents. It is our promise to the Lord that we will do everything in our power to raise you in a Godly way; in the ways of God, and not according to your own ways. We pray that Christ will live in your heart and that you will trust in Him. And that you know how deeply you are loved by our Father.
“As surely as you live, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the LORD. I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD.” And he worshiped the LORD there. 1 Samuel 1:26-28 (NIV)
You are a child of God.
You are wonderfully made, dearly loved, and precious in His sight.
Before God made you, he knew you….
there is no one else like you!
