Sweet Precious Boy,
Month two went by just as quickly as month one, as I’m sure all months will seem to fly by.
You have changed so much in the 8 weeks that you’ve been in this world. You’ve gotten longer and you’ve filled out more…you definitely are a good eater. You are still nursing every 3 hours and waking up about 2 times night now. We’re working on putting you to bed at 8:30-9:00pm and I let you sleep until you wake up. You had one night when you slept for 5 hours straight! You still aren’t the best napper, but we’re working on it. You’d much rather nap while mommy is holding you, and I don’t blame you one bit. You don’t like to be swaddled, you never have, not even when you were first born. You still don’t like to sleep in your pack ‘n play, so you’re still sleeping in your rock ‘n play. You really are an easy baby!
You have become more interactive. You are smiling and cooing with us now. You’re now following our voices. You love to stare at the TV. It must be the bright lights that grasp your attention. You’re still loving bath time, but you definitely don’t like tummy time. I try to give you at least 2 minutes of tummy time, 3 times a day. It isn’t much but you have your opinion about it and begin to get fussy if I leave you there too long.
Some firsts for you this month: Visit with Santa, Christmas, Road Trip and New Years
You had another round of immunizations at your 2 month well child check. You cried for about a second, and immediately quit crying once I picked you up. You’re a champ.
We love you sweet boy and we are looking forward to what the next month will bring!
